Description:

Red River Army Depot (RRAD) is located in northeast Texas, 19 miles west of Texarkana and approximately 170 miles northeast of Dallas. RRAD is near the corners of 4 states - Arkansas, Louisiana, Oklahoma and Texas. The depot's enormous maintenance mission includes the repair, rebuild, overhaul and conversion of tactical wheeled vehicles. Current Department of Army Civilian Employees In order to qualify, you must meet the education and/or experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application. Additional information about transcripts is in this document.Specialized Experience: INSERVICE applicant and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-07 grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Implementing production schedules in assigned production shops for planning mission timeline to completion;2) Analyzing production resources such as; cost estimates, assets, materials and manpower to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding;OR 3) Identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workloadOR an OUSTIDE applicant and have one year of specialized experience equivalent to the GS-08 grade level in the Federal service which includes:1) Implementing production schedules in assigned production shops for planning mission timeline to completion;2) Analyzing production resources such as; cost estimates, assets, materials and manpower to alleviate potential discrepancies in funding;OR 3) Identifying production bottlenecks that could impact accomplishing production workload .Time in Grade Requirement: INSERVICE Applicant who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-07) OR OUTSIDE Applicant who have held a General Schedule (GS) position within the last 52 weeks must have 52 weeks of Federal service at the next lower grade or equivalent (GS-08) .#J-18808-Ljbffr
