LabCorp is seeking a Phlebotomist to join our team in Texarkana, TX (75501).Work ScheduleMonday - Thursday: 8:00am - 4:00pm; Friday: 8:00am - 2:00pm (additional hours; rotating Saturdays may be requested as needed).Job ResponsibilitiesPerform blood collections by venipuncture and capillary techniques for all age groups.Collect specimens for drug screens, paternity tests, alcohol tests, etc.Perform data entry of patient information accurately and timely.Process billing information and collect payments when required.Prepare all collected specimens for testing and analysis.Maintain patient and specimen information logs.Provide superior customer service to all patients.Perform administrative and clerical duties as necessary.Travel to additional sites when needed.Minimum QualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent.Preferred Qualifications1 or more years of phlebotomy experience working in a clinical/hospital environment.1 or more years of experience assisting all patient groups (pediatric - geriatric).Current or prior LabCorp experience.Additional Job StandardsIn lieu of work experience, a phlebotomy certification or completed training program from an accredited agency.Able to pass a standardized color blindness test.Flexibility to work overtime as needed.Able to work in a fast‑paced/high-volume work environment.Exceptional customer service.Strong communication skills; both written and verbal.Ability to work independently or in a team environment.Comfortable working under minimal supervision.BenefitsQUARTERLY INCENTIVE BONUS PROGRAM.Phlebotomists may be eligible for participation in the Phlebotomy Incentive Plan, which pays a quarterly bonus based on performance metrics.Employees regularly scheduled to work 20 or more hours per week are eligible for comprehensive benefits including: Medical, Dental, Vision, Life, STD/LTD, 401(k), Paid Time Off (PTO) or Flexible Time Off (FTO), Tuition Reimbursement and Employee Stock Purchase Plan.
