*Position Summary*
Belt Construction is seeking a highly analytical and system-oriented Financial Systems Analyst to support and enhance the company's core financial technologies and reporting capabilities. This role will serve as the primary owner of financial systems—including Deltek ComputerEase and related integrations—ensuring data integrity, system reliability, and actionable insights across the organization.
The Financial Systems Analyst will partner closely with Finance, Project Management, and Executive Leadership to deliver scalable reporting, dashboards, and analytics, while leading the implementation of automation and AI-driven solutions to improve efficiency and decision-making.
*Essential Duties & Responsibilities*
*Financial Systems Ownership*
· Serve as the functional owner and administrator of Deltek ComputerEase and related financial systems
· Manage system configurations, user access, workflows, and data structure
· Ensure system integrity, consistency, and alignment with accounting and operational processes
· Coordinate with IT and external vendors for system upgrades, enhancements, and issue resolution
*Systems Integration & Data Management*
· Oversee integrations between ComputerEase and upstream/downstream systems (e.g., payroll, project management, AP/AR tools)
· Monitor and troubleshoot data flows between systems
· Ensure accuracy, completeness, and timeliness of financial and operational data
· Develop and maintain data models supporting reporting and analytics
*Reporting & Dashboard Development*
· Design and deliver financial and operational dashboards for:
· Finance and accounting teams
· Project managers (WIP, job cost, profitability)
· Executive leadership (CEO, CFO, ownership)
· Build recurring and ad hoc reports to support forecasting, budgeting, and performance tracking
· Standardize KPIs and metrics across the organization
*Analytics & Decision Support*
· Provide actionable insights on project performance, cost trends, and profitability
· Support WIP reporting, revenue recognition, and forecasting processes
· Partner with Finance leadership to improve visibility into backlog, margin, and cash flow
· Identify opportunities for process improvement and cost savings
*Automation & AI Enablement*
· Identify and implement automation opportunities across finance workflows
· Develop and deploy AI agents and tools to:
· Assist with routine accounting tasks
· Perform financial analysis and anomaly detection
· Support predictive analytics (e.g., cost overruns, cash forecasting, margin trends)
· Evaluate emerging technologies and recommend solutions aligned to business needs
*Cross-Functional Collaboration*
· Act as liaison between Finance, Operations, and IT
· Train and support system users across departments
· Document processes, system architecture, and reporting definitions
· Support audits and compliance requirements related to financial systems
· Other duties as assigned.
*Qualifications*
*Required*
· Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field
· 3–7+ years of experience in financial systems, accounting, or data analytics
· Experience with ERP systems (construction ERP experience strongly preferred)
· Strong understanding of:
· Job costing and project accounting
· Financial reporting and data structures
· Advanced proficiency in:
· Excel (Power Query, advanced formulas)
· Reporting tools (Power BI, Tableau, or similar)

· Experience with Deltek ComputerEase or similar construction ERP
· Familiarity with data integration tools and databases (SQL, APIs, ETL processes)
· Experience implementing automation or AI-driven solutions
· Construction industry experience (civil or heavy/highway preferred)
