Job DescriptionLocation: 3710 N STATE LINE AVE, TEXARKANA, AR, 71854, USPosition SummaryThe Floral Manager leads the Floral Department to deliver fresh, high-quality arrangements, visually appealing displays, and exceptional customer service. This role is responsible for driving sales, managing inventory, and developing a skilled team while maintaining high standards for creativity, presentation, and freshness.Key ResponsibilitiesDepartment OperationsOversee daily floral operations including ordering, design, production, and inventory controlEnsure product freshness, proper handling, and minimal shrink through effective rotation and careCreate attractive, seasonal, and promotional displays to drive impulse salesMaintain full, clean, and visually appealing cases, tables, and displaysCustomer ExperienceDeliver outstanding service by assisting customers with floral selections, custom arrangements, and special ordersProvide creative recommendations for events, holidays, and occasionsEnsure the department maintains a welcoming and visually engaging shopping environmentHire, train, and develop floral associates and designersProvide coaching on floral design techniques, product knowledge, and customer serviceCreate schedules aligned with business needs and seasonal demandPromote teamwork, creativity, and accountability within the departmentDrive sales through effective merchandising, promotions, and upselling opportunitiesManage expenses including inventory, shrink, and labor to meet department goalsMonitor key metrics such as sales, margin, and waste reductionSafety & ComplianceEnsure proper handling, storage, and care of all floral productsMaintain cleanliness and organization in all prep and sales areasFollow company policies and safety standards, including equipment use and chemical handlingQualificationsHigh school diploma or equivalent requiredPrevious floral, retail, or management experience preferredKnowledge of floral design, products, and care techniquesStrong leadership, communication, and creative skillsAbility to work in a fast‑paced, seasonal environmentPhysical RequirementsFrequent standing, bending, and lifting up to 50 lbsAbility to work in refrigerated and backroom environmentsUse of floral tools and equipmentCreativity & Visual MerchandisingLeadership & Team DevelopmentCustomer FocusOperational ExecutionBenefits and CompensationPay Transparency: Starting rates will be no less than the local minimum wage and may vary based on location, experience, qualifications, and the terms of any applicable collective bargaining agreement. Candidates with unique qualifications may be considered for compensation above this range. Benefits may include medical, dental, vision, disability and life insurance, sick pay, PTO/Vacation pay, paid holidays, bereavement pay, and retirement benefits (pension and/or 401(k) eligibility).
