A company is looking for a Financial Counselor for the Adult Outpatient Pavilion in a remote capacity.Key ResponsibilitiesRegister patients, validate insurance eligibility, and collect co-paymentsAssess patient financial responsibility and provide benefit educationAccept payments and reconcile accounts in unbilled statusRequired Qualifications, Training, and EducationHigh School Diploma or equivalent required; Associate or bachelor's degree preferred in a related fieldMinimum two years of customer service experience with a patient-centered focusPrevious experience with computers and Microsoft Office softwarePreferred experience in patient scheduling/registration in a healthcare settingKnowledge of medical terminology and medical insurance is preferred
