A company is looking for a System Safety Project Engineer responsible for managing the safety and certification of automated transit network projects.Key ResponsibilitiesManage safety and certification for automated transit network projects from late-stage design through operational readinessLead hazard analysis and safety case development for safety certification and approvalsCoordinate with various teams and regulators to ensure compliance with project safety requirementsRequired QualificationsBachelor's degree or higher in engineering, safety science, or a related technical fieldMinimum 5+ years of experience in functional safety, system safety, or safety engineeringExperience with safety certification or approval for complex systems, including safety case developmentKnowledge of relevant industry standards such as IEC 61508 and EN50126Experience working with authorities and independent safety assessors on safety arguments and findings
