A company is looking for a Contract/PT Grants Writer to support the Development team in grant proposal activities.Key ResponsibilitiesResearch new grant prospects and opportunities from grantors/fundersWrite grant proposals and supporting documents as assignedCultivate an understanding of the organization's history, structure, objectives, and financial needsQualifications5-10+ years' experience in grant writing or a related field; experience with reproductive justice or journalism grants preferredDegree in English, Journalism, Communications, Grant Writing, or a related field preferredA successful portfolio of funded grants between $25,000 - $1M+Contemporary understanding of journalism and reproductive health/justice funder audiencesHigh degree of integrity, initiative, and resilience; ability to work independently
