Position: Patient Access Registrar

Location: Hope, AR

Hours: M-F, 8a-5p

Pay: $16.50/hour

Position Summary:
We are seeking a friendly, organized, and detail-oriented Patient Access Registrar to join our team. As the first point of contact for patients and visitors, this role is essential in creating a positive and welcoming experience. The ideal candidate is computer savvy, able to multitask in a fast-paced environment, and committed to delivering excellent customer service with a warm and professional demeanor.

Key Responsibilities:

• Greet patients and visitors with a friendly, welcoming attitude
• Accurately register patients by collecting and verifying demographic, insurance, and medical information
• Enter patient data into electronic health record systems efficiently and accurately
• Verify insurance eligibility and obtain necessary authorizations when applicable
• Handle patient check-in and check-out processes
• Answer incoming calls and assist with inquiries in a professional manner
• Maintain patient confidentiality in compliance with HIPAA regulations
• Coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth patient flow
• Collect co-pays and process payments as needed
• Assist with administrative tasks and maintain organized records

• High school diploma or equivalent required
• Previous experience in healthcare registration, medical office, or customer service preferred
• Strong computer skills with the ability to quickly learn new systems
• Excellent organizational and multitasking abilities
• Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy and attention to detail
• Positive attitude with a friendly, patient-focused approach
