Position: CNC Machinist

Location: Texarkana, AR

Hours: M-F 7:00am - 3:30pm

Pay: $24.00 and will go to $26.30 once rolled over

Benefits: Full benefits package, PTO, and climate controlled enviroment.

Duties:

• Must be able to set up and operate, without assistance, a variety NC/CNC lathes to machine quality parts to meet specifications.
• Must be positive team contributor who works well with all team members.
• May be required to rotate to other job functions within the same labor grade as directed by their supervisor.
• Participate in training activities, both on and off site
• Document and maintain required records.
• Work safely by following all safety policies, procedures and actively participate in all site safety programs.
• Perform all other related duties as assigned by supervisor.
• Participation in Xylem Watermark volunteer activities
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Must have the ability to use, read and interpret tape measures, Pi tapes, squares, protractors, calipers, special pipe & layout instruments, and other measurement tools.
• Must be able to set-up CNC machines with proper tooling jaws and fixtures in a safe and timely manner.
• Ability to meet and maintain any tolerances required.
• Ability to use all types of measuring instruments and various hand tools.
• Must have the ability to train other operators in the N/C work center.
• Must maintain proper care of equipment and a neat and orderly work area.
• Must be willing and able to work overtime as needed.
