Position: Band Saw Operator

Location: Leary, TX

Hours: 1st Shift Monday-Friday 6am to 4:30 & 2nd shift Monday-Friday 4:00pm to 1:00am

Pay: $16.00

• Utilize hand tools to adjust the steel to ensure quality of the cut, may push, pull to adjust the steel on the table
• Monitor and inspect the saw while cutting the steel to ensure proper cut and difficulty while cutting
• Tag and mark finished goods and drop material and place the drop material into the proper area
• Process material by following instructions on work orders
• Verifies the material, thickness, length, and grade is correct
• Lay out, align, secure, and prioritize material
• Maintain a high attention to safety, quality, and productivity in the fabrication area
• Knowledge and expertise of steel and aluminum cutting
• Observe safety procedures, assure self and others safety and report any safety issues
• Extreme attention to detail: Precision detailed to 1/16th
• Must be able to lift 50lbs and stand for the entirety of the shift.
