Title: Field Engineer / Survey Technician
Pay: $18-$24/hour DOE
Hours: Monday-Friday, 6:00 AM-4:30 PM
Schedule: Day Shift
Benefits: Full Benefits Package

Position Overview:
We are seeking a dependable and detail-oriented Field Engineer / Survey Technician to join our team. This position will support road construction and building layout projects using Topcon GPS and Trimble Total Station equipment. The ideal candidate will have experience in construction surveying, grade checking, and field layout, along with the ability to work outdoors in varying conditions.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform field engineering and surveying duties for roadwork and building projects
• Operate Topcon GPS and Trimble Total Station equipment accurately and efficiently
• Assist with site layout, grade checks, elevations, and staking
• Read and interpret blueprints, site plans, and survey data
• Verify measurements and ensure work is completed to project specifications
• Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and crews in the field
• Maintain surveying equipment and ensure proper calibration
• Document field data and report findings accurately
• Follow all company safety policies and procedures
• Perform other duties as assigned

• Experience as a Field Engineer, Survey Technician, or Construction Surveyor preferred
• Knowledge of Topcon GPS and Trimble Total Station required
• Experience with road construction and building layout/surveying preferred
• Ability to read blueprints and construction plans
• Strong math and measurement skills
• Detail-oriented with strong problem-solving ability
• Able to work outdoors and in physically demanding environments
• Reliable transportation and strong attendance required
