Dollar General - - Responsibilities: Manage the Perishable Departments including produce, fresh meat, packaged meats, dairy, frozen food, bread, and thaw and sell bakery products.; Assist Store Manager with inventory management, merchandise presentation, and customer service.; Train associates in proper presentation, freshness, pricing standards, and safe handling of perishable products.; Record Perishable Markdowns and analyze causes to prevent recurrences.; Maintain inventory levels and ensure sanitation standards in the Perishable departments.
