Accounting Manager - Hybrid in DC

About the Company and Opportunity:

• Our client is a non-profit organization in DC that has been around for 101 years! Great stability!
• This position starts in a contract and depending on performance, fit, and needs of the business could go permanent.
• This role is hybrid (3 in, 2 out)! Laptop is provided!
• Pay: $58-60/hr

• ME Close (overseeing all reconciliations and journal entries)
• Oversee all grants - heavy foundation based grants and some federal grants
• Annual budget and forecasting
• Supervise a team of 2
• Oversee AP and AR
• Ad hoc reporting/projects

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or related field
• 10+ years of accounting experience
• Grants/Non-profit experience
• Supervisory experience
• Proficient in Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUPS)
• Experience in Sage Intacct is a plus
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
