Warehouse Associate for Delivery Services

Job Overview

Join our dedicated team as a Warehouse Associate! In this role, you'll play a crucial part at the delivery station, which is the final stop before we bring joy to our customers. Our high-energy environment involves receiving trucks full of orders and preparing them for delivery. You will load conveyor belts and assist in transporting and staging deliveries for pickup by our drivers.

Duties & Responsibilities

In this role, your responsibilities will include:

1. Receiving and organizing inventory for delivery.

2. Utilizing technology such as smartphones and handheld devices to sort, scan, and pack orders into delivery bags and vans.

3. Building, wrapping, sorting, and moving pallets and packages efficiently.

4. Receiving truck deliveries of customer packages.

You should be prepared to:

1. Lift up to 49 pounds regularly.

2. View prompts on screens while following instructions for various tasks.

3. Stand, walk, push, pull, squat, bend, and reach as needed throughout your shift.

4. Use carts, dollies, hand trucks, and other equipment to move items effectively.

5. Navigate stairs (where applicable) as part of your daily routine.

6. Work at heights of up to 40 feet on a mezzanine (if required).

7. Adapt to different temperature conditions and moving vehicles in the workplace.

What to Expect in the Warehouse Environment

1. Surroundings: You will be working around moving machines, including order pickers, stand-up forklifts, turret trucks, and mobile carts.

2. Activity: Responsibilities may involve extended periods of standing, walking, and stair climbing.

3. Training: You will have a fixed schedule for on-the-job training and will move to your chosen schedule afterward.

4. Temperature: Temperatures can range from 60°F to 90°F in different warehouse areas and may exceed 90°F during hotter days in certain locations.

5. Noise Level: The workplace can get noisy; we provide hearing protection if needed.

6. Dress Code: A relaxed dress code applies, but closed-toe shoes are mandatory, with some areas requiring protective safety footwear. You may receive a gift code for footwear purchases to prepare for your first day.
