Maintenance Mechanic

Department: Operations

Reports to: Maintenance Superintendent

Scope: To adjust, install, maintain and repair all equipment, machinery and plant facilities

Essential Functions:

• Basic Mechanical Knowledge
• Able to Operate Shop Machinery
• Able to Operate Machine Shop Equipment
• Knowledge of, and ability to implement, and/or Repair:
• Electrical, preferred not required
• Pipe Fitting & Plumbing
• Welding
• Hydraulic
• Pneumatics
• Automatic Equipment Operation (setup, repair and rear down)
• Must know Shop Mathematics
• Interpret Drawings
• Read and Understand Schematics.
• All Other Duties as assigned by Management.

Qualifications and Requirements:

• Energetic and Positive Team Player Who Encourages Others and takes Pride in the Company
• Must have good communications skills (both written & oral)
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to lift and climb.
• Bi-Lingual a plus
• Fork-lift Experience, preferred
• Education/Skills: High School Diploma or GED Required
• 5-year experience in related field, preferred

Details of Employment:

• 90 Day Probation Period
• At Will Employment
• Dress Appropriate to Position - See Supervisor
• Slip Resistant Shoes are required in All Manufacturing Locations
• Must Participate and Comply with All Company Policies
• Must be able to work weekends and overtime.
