Financial Controller - Insurance Client

Location: Remote

Reports To: CFO

Sector: Property and Casualty Insurance / MGA

The Role

Our client-a modern, fast-scaling insurance platform-is seeking a sharp, hands-on Controller to lead financial operations across its owned MGAs. This is a high-impact role supporting integration, oversight, and consistency across a portfolio of decentralized businesses.

Key Responsibilities

• Oversee month-end close and reporting across all MGAs.
• Ensure timely, accurate financials aligned with group requirements.
• Own audit prep and support internal controls across the portfolio.
• Drive process improvement, standardization, and integration post-acquisition.
• Partner with local finance leads and provide hands-on guidance.
• Collaborate with leadership on special projects and transformation initiatives.
  
  

What They're Looking For

• 7-10+ years of accounting/finance experience in multi-entity environments.
• Insurance or MGA experience strongly preferred.
• Strong leadership skills with a practical, problem-solving approach.
• Ability to lead in fast-paced, high-growth settings.
• Clear communicator who builds strong internal partnerships.
