Full time | 100% Remote | 1 - 3 Years of Experience

Position Overview:

The Loan Officer Assistant supports loan officers in their daily duties to increase loan production levels. The role involves working directly with customers, realtors, insurance agents, loan officers, and processors to ensure a positive customer experience and facilitate timely loan closings.

Job Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in reviewing mortgage loan applications and documentation, including phone and computer work, printing, copying, scanning, emailing, and overnighting documents.
  2. Review mortgage loan disclosure packages and deliver them to borrowers.
  3. Create and deliver rate disclosure and re-disclosure packages to borrowers.
  4. Review documents and entire loan files, highlighting deficiencies and notifying relevant parties to prevent issues.
  5. Clarify and correct information, obtain additional details as needed via phone or email.
  6. Provide clerical and phone support to loan officers and processors as needed.
  7. Support management in various stages of lending and processing.
  8. Manage a pipeline of conventional, FHA, VA, USDA, 203K, and reverse mortgage loans.
  9. Deliver appraisals and property valuations to borrowers and confirm receipt.
  10. Track outstanding items on loan files and follow up to ensure timely documentation.
  11. Facilitate timely loan closings by coordinating with Title Companies and customers.


Qualifications and Skills:

  • DD214 (Successful US Military Service)
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent from an accredited institution
  • At least 2 years of mortgage-related experience, including customer contact
  • At least 2 years of Encompass LOS experience
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications
  • CRM experience preferred (GoHighLevel optimal)
