Specialty Pharmacy Account Executive-Remote

Base pay range: $85,000.00/yr - $105,000.00/yr

Position summary and responsibilities are as described by the employer. The role focuses on developing, maintaining, and growing relationships with key prescribers, prescriber office staff, patients, and manufacturer/trade accounts to drive referral volume and revenue for Orsini Healthcare. The position requires travel, strong cross-functional collaboration, and proactive communication with external partners and internal teams.

Responsibilities
  • Build, manage, grow and maintain relationships with key prescribers and prescriber offices to grow referral volume.
  • Manage manufacturer/trade accounts, including periodic communications, development and presentation of business reviews and related matters.
  • Develop new manufacturer/hub/consultant relationships.
  • Travel and communicate regularly with prescriber offices, manufacturer/trade accounts and industry organizations/events to promote Orsini Healthcare services.
  • Troubleshoot patient accounts regarding reimbursement issues and barriers to care.
  • Develop and maintain SP non-profit patient organization relationships.
  • Analyze accounts to support near-term and long-term objectives and promote Orsini Healthcares service offerings.
  • Provide timely feedback to senior management regarding pipeline drug opportunities or factors affecting referral volume and revenue.
  • Integrate with various Orsini teams and departments to drive new revenue.
  • Analyze market trends and FDA approval statuses within the biopharmaceutical market.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelors degree in a related field, or an equivalent combination of education, skills and experience.
  • Minimum one to three years of pharmaceutical sales experience.
  • Intermediate working knowledge of Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Strong negotiating, networking and verbal communication skills.
  • Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to work cross-functionally.
  • Ability to travel and communicate with external parties and individuals.
