Senior Backend Software Engineer Enterprise / Commerce (100% Remote)

Responsibilities

• Design, build, and operate API and full?stacksolutions.
• Operate autonomously while collaborating closely with engineers, designers, and product managers to ensure high alignment.
• Explore engineering improvements for the team and the product.
• Cross?functional collaboration with product teams, other Hopper teams, and external partner teams.
• Support an environment with minimal meetings and emphasis on asynchronous decision making.

Ideal Candidate

• Strong drive to deep dive into an unknown code base while keeping the velocity of delivering results fast.
• Product?centric mindset with quality anchored in customer outcomes.
• Experience with or willingness to learn distributed system development in Scala.
