Position Overview

The Director of Marketing Planning is a remote, full?time leadership role based anywhere within the United States. The starting annual salary ranges from $105,000 to $115,000, with compensation influenced by geographic location, experience, and skills.

Responsibilities
  • Lead, develop, and mentor a high?performing team of marketing project managers, fostering proactive communication and seamless collaboration.
  • Drive proactive resource and capacity planning, forecasting marketing resources across multiple business portfolios to ensure optimal project delivery and strategic alignment.
  • Establish and own the generation and insightful analysis of overarching marketing operational performance and efficiency reports, leveraging analytical expertise to identify systemic inefficiencies and opportunities for significant streamlining and automation.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and strategically mitigate potential resourcing and project risks, leading the development of robust contingency plans to address unforeseen challenges.
Qualifications
  • Minimum Bachelors Degree.
  • Project Management Certification preferred.
  • 10+ years of project management experience in a marketing department, organization, or agency.
Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
  • Passion for mentoring and talent development, with a track record of building high?performing teams.
  • Strong understanding of integrated marketing campaign execution, including planning, creative, and production processes for digital, video, social, and traditional content.
  • Highly data?driven mindset with experience leveraging analytics in planning, resourcing, and execution decision?making.
  • Experience leading enterprise?wide initiatives, building rapport and consent among diverse groups and influencing individuals without direct supervision.
  • Strong cross?functional collaboration skills with a win?win mindset.
  • Impeccable interpersonal and communication skills, and ability to work strategically and collaboratively across departments.
  • Proficiency in project management tools and software and Microsoft Office suite.
Travel and Physical Requirements
  • Requires travel by air or car when necessary.
  • Work is normally performed in a typical interior/office work environment; no or very limited physical effort required.
