Who are we?

Goldfinch is a modern Cantonese restaurant with its roots firmly planted in the traditions of Cantonese cuisine, led by Will King-Smith. We combine traditional techniques and high-quality produce with a contemporary approach, creating dishes that honor craftsmanship while speaking to a modern audience.

Our open kitchen brings guests right into the heart of the action, setting a lively and welcoming atmosphere. With every detail, we aim to create an experience that feels both transporting and familiar, a little escape in the middle of Copenhagen, filled with warmth, flavor, and a soft ambiance.

Who are you?

We are looking for a part-time waiter to join our front-of-house team this December. The position offers 15-20 hours a week, with the potential for a longer-term role if we're a great match.

As a waiter, you'll be the face of the guest experience, from setting the tone as guests arrive, to guiding them through our menu and ensuring every visit feels personal and memorable. You'll work closely with a team that takes pride in quality service, attention to detail, and warm, genuine hospitality.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Welcoming and seating guests with warmth and professionalism
• Guiding guests through the food and drink menu with thoughtful recommendations
• Communicating effectively with the kitchen and bar to ensure smooth service
• Keeping your section clean, organized, and running efficiently
• Maintaining a positive, calm presence even when it's busy

We're looking for someone who is:

• Is responsible, punctual, and proactive
• Enjoys working evenings and weekends
• Contributes to a respectful, supportive team culture
• Is curious about food, wine, and service - and eager to learn more

Experience in hospitality is a plus, but not essential. What matters most is your attitude, energy, and willingness to grow.
