This position involves maintaining and repairing building materials equipment, ensuring safety protocols are followed, operating various machinery and tools, collaborating with team members for efficient workflow, and conducting regular equipment inspections.
We are looking for someone with strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills, the ability to operate and maintain machinery, a proactive and safety-conscious mindset, effective communication and teamwork skills, and flexibility to work in various conditions and environments.
The role operates primarily in environments where the conditions include moving mechanical equipment, inclement weather, heat, cold, humidity, and elevated noise levels. The physical demands include frequent standing, walking, and bending, the ability to lift and carry up to 50 pounds, manual dexterity to handle tools and operate equipment, and occasional climbing and working at heights.
