Ruby/Rails Architect/ Greenfield Dev/ ATL (Remote)

Motion Recruitment is seeking an experienced Ruby/Rails Architect for a remote position based in Atlanta, GA. You will be building new products for 2025 initiatives, with a focus on customer-facing applications that significantly impact the company's bottom line.

The role involves developing robust Ruby/Rails applications, microservices, and APIs, with an emphasis on RESTful API development and modern DevOps practices. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in large-scale cloud applications, preferably in AWS, GCP, or Azure, and over 10 years of software engineering experience, including 7+ years with Ruby/Rails.

Requirements:

• 10+ years of software engineering experience
• 7+ years working with Ruby/Rails
• Experience developing large-scale microservices and cloud applications
• Strong knowledge of modern DevOps practices
• Cloud experience in AWS (GCP or Azure is also acceptable)
• Proven ability to develop robust REST APIs
