Concrete Superintendent

Position Overview

The Concrete Superintendent will oversee all concrete operations on construction sites, ensuring that projects are completed on time, within budget, and to the highest quality standards. This role involves managing crew members, coordinating schedules, and collaborating with other trades to achieve successful project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

• Manage and supervise concrete pouring and finishing operations on construction sites.
• Ensure compliance with safety regulations and maintain a safe work environment.
• Coordinate with project managers, engineers, and subcontractors to ensure project specifications are met.
• Schedule and oversee concrete deliveries and set up forms and reinforcement systems.
• Conduct regular inspections to monitor quality and progress of concrete work.
• Provide training and guidance to crew members on proper techniques and safety practices.
• Resolve any issues or conflicts that arise on site in a timely manner.
  
  

Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Concrete Superintendent or similar role in construction.
• Strong knowledge of concrete construction methods, including tilt-up techniques.
• Excellent leadership and communication skills.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and technical drawings.
• Familiarity with safety standards and regulations in the construction industry.
• Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work under pressure.
