Read further to learn how you could help make great things possible not only in your community, but around the world.In the role of GIS Intern, we'll count on you to:* Gain real-world experience on exciting projects by developing and implementing geospatial and data visualization solutions for clients across transportation, water and resources business groups.* Perform assignments under the direct supervision of your Department Manager, Section Manager or other professionals to assist with spatial analyses, preparing maps, and editing data using ArcGIS Pro and ArcGIS Online* Connect with recent college graduates and our company leaders through mentoring and young professionals programs* Perform other duties as neededPreferred Qualifications* Demonstrated knowledge of ArcGIS software packages related to field of study/industry* Pursuing a degree in Geography, Planning, Computer Science, or closely related fieldRequired Qualifications* Must be currently enrolled in an undergraduate or graduate program* Attention to detail a must* Must possess strong problem-solving and communication skills* Basic Microsoft Office skills* An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a mustWhat We BelieveHDR is our company.
