Clean Harbors is looking for a Hospital Insite Technician (Insite Chemist) to join their safety conscious team. This person would be responsible for the performance of tasks associated with collecting, segregating, packing, and preparing for shipment of hazardous waste in accordance with our company policies and procedures at our client location in
This will be a Full Time position with extensive daily travel within your workday to various hospitals and offsites. This is a highly physical position that will require extensive walking while pulling a large cart with you, maneuvering it in the hospital corridors. You do enter each patient room checking sharps/pharmaceutical containers and handle the overpacking of Hazardous pharmaceutical waste. Heavy lifting up to 50 lbs. several times per day. Fill out legal DOT documents. Good customer service skills and the ability to work with demanding customers in a highly regulated field. It also requires you to make sure trailers are ready for transport.

InSite?Technicians perform a wide range of tasks, including:?
Making waste pickups throughout a customer's facility;
Conducting chemical bulking and consolidation;
Packaging and labeling waste products to maximize efficiency and maintain compliance;
Participating in spill response on customer's site as needed;
Operating Pallet Jacks
Inspecting drums for container integrity and regulatory compliance;
Ensuring the safe loading and unloading of waste hauling vehicles;?
Completing waste stream sampling and profiling.?

What does it take to work for Clean Harbors??
High School?diploma or equivalent;?
Valid driver's?license;?
Grade 4 Industrial Wastewater License preferred;
Willingness to complete a?background check, drug test, and physical.?
