We are seeking a dynamic and experienced leader to join our team as a Product Director. This role is pivotal in driving team performance and fostering a positive work environment. The ideal candidate will be a strong people leader, capable of managing a team of 4 direct reports and 1 indirect report.

Qualifications:

- Technical insurance knowledge is strongly preferred.

As a Director, you'll lead a product management team that drives profitable growth through strategic product positioning nationwide. You will develop plans, initiate changes aligned with corporate objectives, and manage relationships across leadership and partners.
Key Responsibilities:
- Gather detailed industry, competitor, and product performance data to formulate insights and recommendations.
- Analyze product performance across geography, channels, and lines of business to identify trends and opportunities for growth.
- Manage timelines and resources to ensure project completion and lead cross-functional projects.
- Develop comprehensive product strategies for profitability, including rate reviews, pricing, and risk management.
- Consult with leaders and partners on analysis and business performance, providing data-driven recommendations.
- Communicate and present product strategies organization-wide to achieve profit and growth goals.
- Build and strengthen relationships with internal and external partners, leading team development and collaboration.
- Participate in training, mentoring, and professional development activities.
- Supervise associate management, including performance, salary, training, and organizational planning.
Additional responsibilities may be assigned as needed.
Reporting Relationships: Reports to Pet Product AVP. Typically leads 4-8 direct/indirect reports.
Typical Skills and Experiences:
- Bachelors degree in relevant fields or MBA preferred.
- Progress toward or completion of relevant certifications such as CPCU, AU, CIC, ARM, actuarial exams preferred.
- Ten years of experience in underwriting and product management, with cross-functional and data analysis experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of business functions, financials, trend analysis, and competitor data.
- Excellent communication and leadership skills.
