Position Responsibilities
Create and drive innovation with the intent of building a patent portfolio strategy by generating offensive and defensive IP/ patents.
Key contributor in sharing and responding to RFPs, sales engagements, and partner discussions to emphasize key differentiators and to win sales and drive revenue
Regularly participate or lead key sales, partner, and investor presentations
Competently lead build, partner, buy decision making
Develop and execute the product strategy, aligning it with the company's overall business goals.
Define and manage the product roadmap, prioritizing features and initiatives based on market needs and competitive analysis.
Stay abreast of industry trends, emerging technologies, and competitive landscape in the healthcare data analytics space. Drive innovation in solutions to stay ahead of trends.
Work closely with engineering, sales, operations and marketing teams to ensure successful product launches, adoption, and full commercialization.
Monitor and analyze product performance, identifying areas for improvement and optimization.
Lead the product team, including product managers, product designers, and product analysts.
Represent the product organization in external forums and industry events.
Develop and implement product pricing and go-to-market strategies.
Collaborate with the sales and marketing teams to build and refine go-to-market strategies.
Ensure that all products are compliant with relevant regulations and standards.
Experience & Skills
Required Experience and Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field (e.g., business, computer science, statistics, public health). Master's degree preferred.
10+ years of experience in product management, with a strong track record of success in the healthcare or data analytics industry.
Experience in creating and driving innovation, including superior experience in all forms of AI, as described below, and UI/ UX experience that can clearly differentiate in the marketplace. To lead in bringing an AI-enabled experience to its customers in healthcare analytics, the CPO needs a specialized blend of strategic vision, technical acumen, and deep industry understanding as described below.
AI and Data Literacy within a Healthcare Context: The CPO must possess a comprehensive understanding of AI and machine learning concepts, including natural language processing, predictive analytics, and deep learning, particularly as they pertain to healthcare data encompassing clinical, financial, and operational information. This expertise encompasses evaluating practical applications of AI, recognizing the requirements for high-quality data, identifying potential biases, and comprehending the complexities of integrating healthcare data. Additionally, familiarity with platforms such as Health Data Fabric that facilitate AI initiatives is essential.
Healthcare Domain Expertise & Customer Understanding: Serving healthcare payers, providers, and employers the CPO must have a comprehensive understanding of the industry's specific challenges, regulatory environment (e.g., HIPAA), and workflows. This includes knowledge of revenue cycle management, value-based care, and population health. They should be able to translate this understanding into AI-driven solutions that enhance patient outcomes, operational efficiency, and financial performance.
Strategic Product Vision & AI Roadmap: The CPO sets a clear product vision that incorporates AI into offerings, such as Health Fabric and Managed Action. The CPO needs to identify market opportunities, prioritize impactful use cases, and create an adaptable roadmap. The goal is to enhance human capabilities with AI and ensure every feature adds measurable value.
Responsible AI and Ethical Leadership: Given sensitive healthcare data, the CPO champions responsible AI practices. This includes understanding and mitigating algorithmic bias, ensuring data privacy and security, and promoting transparency and explainability in AI models. They establish ethical frameworks, engage with regulatory bodies, and foster a culture prioritizing patient safety and trust, navigating the evolving legal and ethical AI landscape.
Cross-Functional Leadership and Change Management: Implementing AI-enabled experiences demands significant organizational change and collaboration. The CPO must excel at leading diverse teams across product, engineering, data science, sales, and marketing. Strong communication skills are essential to articulate the AI vision, manage expectations, and build buy-in. The CPO needs strong change management skills to help the organization and customers adopt AI tools successfully.
Strong understanding of healthcare data analytics, including data modeling, statistical analysis, and machine learning.
Proven experience in shaping and creating product marketing, pragmatic marketing launch processes and compelling web site content.
Experience in product development, product lifecycle management, and product roadmap planning.
Experience with Agile and other product development methodologies.
Proficiency in relevant data analysis and visualization tools (e.g., R, Python, Tableau, Power BI).
