Responsibilities
Operate a simulated radar display and voice communication system to support air traffic controller training
Respond to student commands and input proper entries into the automated system to simulate pilot actions
Translate displayed information into appropriate air traffic control terminology
Participate in classroom training and complete required certifications for the role
Collaborate with a team of multimedia developers, quality assurance personnel, and subject matter experts
What is Required (Qualifications)
Minimum educational requirement: High school diploma or equivalent
Basic computer proficiency and ability to read and interpret diagrams and manuals
Must be a U.S. citizen with the ability to obtain and maintain a Public Trust clearance
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work effectively in a team environment
How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications)
Experience in ATC Tower, TRACON, or En Route simulation lab
Familiarity with FAAO JO 7110.65 regulations
Proficiency in MS Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel)
Basic understanding of pilot/controller communications or phraseology
Experience working in a multidisciplinary team
