Minimum Requirements:
• 7+ years of experience managing large-scale IT projects, including system integration and vendor management.
• 7+ years of experience with Medicaid Enterprise Systems (e.g., MMIS).
• 7+ years of experience with Medicaid business operations.
• 7+ years of experience identifying problems, evaluating solutions, and implementing effective strategies.
• 7+ years of experience meeting tight deadlines and managing multiple priorities.
• 7+ years of experience facilitating cross-functional meetings and documenting decisions.
• 7+ years of experience using Microsoft Office Suite (Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Project, Outlook).
• 7+ years of experience establishing project goals aligned with strategic plans.
• 7+ years of experience working with technical and non-technical teams.
• 7+ years of experience with analytical and coordination tasks.
• 7+ years of experience exercising independent judgment and creativity.
• Strong oral and written communication skills.
• 4+ years of experience with Project Management certification (e.g., PMP).
Preferred Experience:
• 3+ years of experience with Texas Medicaid programs.
• 2+ years of experience with Texas Health and Human Services programs.
• 2+ years of experience with provider enrollment systems.
• 1+ year of experience with Scrum Master Certification.
Summary:
• Lead the integration of the credentialing application used by MCOs/DMOs into the Provider Enrollment and Management System (PEMS).
• Manage project timelines, dependencies, and stakeholder communications.
• Collaborate with internal teams, vendors, and governance committees to ensure successful delivery.
• Support Medicaid provider enrollment and credentialing modernization efforts.
Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with PEMS sprint teams and Provider Services unit.
• Develop and maintain integrated project timelines aligned with PEMS milestones.
• Track tasks, schedules, and status updates; disseminate project information.
• Report on critical path dependencies and integration points.
• Communicate project status, risks, and mitigation plans to stakeholders.
• Facilitate efficient project meetings and document key decisions.
• Design strategies to mitigate project risks and ensure quality deliverables.
• Lead and oversee project staff to ensure timely and accurate task completion.
• Engage with internal and external stakeholders including technical teams and vendors.
• Prepare reports and documentation for governance committees and leadership.
