LotusWorks is seeking a Telecom Construction Superintendent to lead telecommunications infrastructure efforts on a high-profile data center construction project in Goodnight, Texas. This role ensures all work is completed safely, on time, within scope, and in compliance with project specifications and industry standards. The Superintendent works closely with subcontractors, project managers, and clients to drive quality execution and resolve issues on site.
Responsibilities:

• Supervise and coordinate the daily activities of subcontractors and crews installing telecom infrastructure, including fiber optic networks, small cells, and tower sites.
• Ensure compliance with construction drawings, specifications, codes, and safety requirements.
• Monitor progress, quality, and productivity in the field; proactively address issues to maintain project schedules.
• Conduct daily jobsite meetings and safety briefings with crews and subcontractors.
• Verify delivery of materials and equipment, ensuring readiness for installation.
• Maintain accurate site documentation, including inspections, testing, and as-built records.
• Work with the Construction Manager or Project Manager to report progress, risks, and field challenges.
• Support resolution of design conflicts or constructability issues in coordination with engineering and project teams.
• Enforce safety policies and ensure a clean, organized, and hazard-free work environment.
• Assist with client or owner site walks and ensure punch-list items are addressed promptly.
• Any other duties or responsibilities that may be assigned to you in your role.

Skills Required:

• 5+ years of telecom construction experience, preferably in a supervisory role.
• Strong knowledge of telecom infrastructure (fiber, wireless towers, small cells, or DAS systems).
• Proven ability to manage crews and subcontractors effectively.
• Solid understanding of construction drawings, specifications, and permitting requirements.
• Strong communication and leadership skills with a focus on safety and quality.

Education / Licenses / Certifications

• Bachelor's degree in construction management or an engineering discipline is preferred, but not required.
• Proof of education, licenses, and certifications will be required where applicable.
