The Calibration Technicians are responsible for the calibrating and troubleshooting of any form of plant instrumentation or electronic equipment. The ideal candidate will continually evaluate machine operations to identify and implement process improvements to various Plant Process Control systems and equipment including:
The position would require communication of work activity and status on a regular basis with the Electrical Engineer including establishing a systematic calibration schedule for all plant instruments. The Calibration Technician role provides a career path to an Electronics Technician role through designated training, testing, and acquired experience.
Shift Information: 12-hour shift, new hires would likely be placed onto the night shift. 2-2-3 continuous work schedule (This scheduling allows for some natural overtime and gives a three-day weekend every other week).
Work Environment: Texarkana, AR Plant The job is within a fast paced, heavy industrial environment and you may be required to work within various areas of the factory. The environmental conditions can be hot, cold, and noisy. Safety is our highest priority and safety procedures / guidelines must be always adhered to. This includes safety wear such as hearing and eye protection, protective clothing, and steel-toed shoes.
Basic Qualifications: High school diploma, GED or the Workforce Center's Career Readiness Certification (CRC) with a minimum of Silver Certificate level. Must be at least 18 years of age. Must be legally authorized to work in the US without company sponsorship now or in the future. Required to lift heavy materials, climb, stand, squat, bend and work at heights with or without reasonable accommodations.
