Assumes responsibility for the enforcement of the Code of Ordinances regarding litter, junk vehicles, signs, garage and estate sales, and weed lots. SUPERVISION RECEIVED - Works under the direct supervision of the Code Enforcement & Animal Control Manager. SUPERVISION EXERCISED - None. SAFETY SENSITIVE DESIGNATION - This position is designed as a safety sensitive position and is subject to random drug screening. ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES - Identifies and documents violations including but not limited to weed lots, junk vehicles, litter, signs, certificate of occupancies, garage sales, and unsanitary conditions; Obtains photographic and/or other types of evidence; participates in enforcing local, State, and Federal laws, regulations, codes, and ordinances. Interprets, explains, and provides information regarding the City's codes and ordinances.
