  2025-04-10     Mosaic     Ogden,AR
Description:

Are you seeking a rewarding opportunity to make a difference in someone's life while working from your own home? Join us as a Home Provider with Mosaic at HomeĀ®! Enjoy an average annual income of $47,000 (federally tax-free) plus additional monthly support for rent and household expenses. Candidates must reside in Kansas and have suitable residential property.

For over 40 years, Mosaic has been dedicated to enhancing the quality of life, stability, and community access for individuals with disabilities through our at-home services.

We are looking for compassionate shared living providers to support one of our male clients.

  • This client enjoys outdoor walks and is seeking an older male provider who shares his interests in garage or shop activities. He thrives in calm, quiet environments and would benefit from living with individuals who are mostly adults.

As an Independent Contractor, your main role will be to create and maintain a safe, nurturing home environment for the individual you support.

Caring for others involves more than just assisting with daily tasks; it is about fostering independence and life skills through meaningful engagement. You will be sharing your life and home, participating in activities, and aligning interests and lifestyles.

An Independent Contractor will welcome an individual with disabilities into their home, offering them a supportive environment for personal growth and independence. The level of support may vary from minimal (e.g., budgeting, medication management, transportation, daily living activities) to comprehensive (e.g., personal care, behavioral support). Our organization will aid you in finding the right match for your family dynamics.

Key Responsibilities Include:

  • Assisting with daily tasks such as cooking, cleaning, laundry, and budgeting.
  • Facilitating skill acquisition and independence.
  • Administering medication and supporting medical appointments.
  • Promoting overall health and well-being of the individual.
  • Documenting daily activities via a web-based application.
  • Providing community opportunities for socialization and inclusion.
  • Complying with state and agency policies.
  • Communicating effectively with team members.
  • Addressing physical needs and providing transportation.

Optional Responsibilities Based on Your Preferences:

  • Assistance with personal care tasks such as bathing, toileting, and feeding.
  • Support for medical protocols (e.g., seizure management, feeding tubes).
  • Caring for individuals with complex physical or medical needs.
  • Assisting with behavioral support when necessary.

Requirements:

  • Valid driver's license, car insurance, and current vehicle registration.
  • Active renter's or homeowner's insurance.
  • Minimum age of 18 years.
  • Experience is a plus but not mandatory.
  • Access to reliable computer and internet.
  • Completion of all state-mandated training courses.
  • Maintain a safe and clean living environment.
  • Ability to pass State/Federal and background checks.
