We are seeking a skilled Project Engineer to join a team in the Dallas-Fort Worth area for exciting projects building Heavy Civil - Road/Bridge, and Paving projects. As a key player in our engineering team, you will be responsible for overseeing the successful execution of large-scale infrastructure projects, ensuring high-quality delivery, strict adherence to timelines, and compliance with safety standards.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Manage and oversee the day-to-day activities of heavy civil, road bridge, and paving construction projects.
  • Develop and maintain project schedules, budgets, and ensure adherence to project timelines.
  • Supervise field operations, manage subcontractors, and collaborate with various teams to ensure projects are executed according to plans.
  • Prepare and review project plans, specifications, and cost estimates.
  • Ensure compliance with safety regulations, quality standards, and local environmental codes.
  • Track and report project progress, budget variances, and any potential risks or issues to senior management.
  • Coordinate with local authorities, regulatory agencies, and stakeholders to ensure seamless project execution.
  • Assist in resolving technical issues and provide support to the construction team.
  • Maintain clear and effective communication with clients, consultants, and subcontractors.
Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field.
  • 3+ years of experience in Heavy Civil Engineering, with a focus on road bridges, paving, and infrastructure projects.
  • Knowledge of construction methods, contract documents, and project management software.
  • Strong understanding of industry standards, safety regulations, and environmental guidelines.
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously.
  • Proven experience with project scheduling, cost management, and risk assessment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet project deadlines.
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience working in the Dallas-Fort Worth region is preferred.
  • Proficiency in project management software such as Procore, Buildertrend, or similar tools.
  • Experince on heavy civil and TxDOT projects
