Job Title: Fuel Technician
Reports To: Facilities Maintenance Manager FLSA Status: Salary Exempt

Job Summary: As a fuel technician, it's your job to perform several daily tasks including general maintenance and both equipment and facility tests and inspections. Your primary duties involve assisting drivers, safely filling tanks, hooking and unhooking hoses, opening and closing tank valves, and completing daily checks. It is vital for a fuel technician to have the skills and knowledge to safely load and unload fuels and follow standard safety procedures. Other qualifications for this career typically include a high school diploma, the ability to work in various weather conditions, and physical stamina.
Fuel Technician
Essential Job Duties and Responsibilities:
• Inspect, diagnose and repair all hanging hardware and fuel monitoring equipment
• Perform routing fuel dispenser maintenance
• Perform maintenance tasks as needed to ensure the safety and proper operation of fuel dispensers and related electrical systems.
Human Resources
• Regular attendance, punctuality, physical on-site attendance (if applicable), adherence to the Company's established policies and the team member handbook.

Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:
Certifications / Trainings
Gilbarco Dispenser Certification preferred
Veeder Root Tank Monitor Certification preferred
Passport or Verifone Certification preferred
Education and Experience:
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Previous fuel technician or equivalent experience required.
• C Store or Retail experience preferred
Working environment and physical requirements:
• Must have physical stamina.
• Ability to work in various weather conditions.
• Must be able to lift 50 pounds at times.
Travel: Must be able to travel up to 80%.
