SquareDash is the fastest way for roofers and restoration contractors to get paid on insurance claims.

What we're looking for

We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Claims & Billing Specialist who has a passion for client satisfaction to join our Revenue Cycle Management team. This role will be cross-trained to handle property owner billing as well as claim funding procedures on behalf of our clients. The ideal candidate will play a crucial part in ensuring accurate invoicing and timely payment processing for each of the jobs our roofing and restoration clients entrust us to handle.

What you'll do

• Property Billing Management:
• Handle billing processes for our clients' property owners on upcoming jobs, jobs in process, and completed jobs.
• Coordinate with external stakeholders like contractors, property owners, insurance companies, and mortgage companies to resolve any discrepancies.
• Coordinate with internal stakeholders like account managers, revenue cycle manager, quality assurance, product, accounting, and finance to resolve any discrepancies or billing issues.
• Payment Processing:
• Monitor payment collections and follow up with property owners, insurance companies, and mortgage companies associated with each of our clients' jobs to ensure timely payment of property invoices and/or repayment of claim funding advances.
• Track outstanding invoices and aging receivables, identifying overdue accounts and escalating as necessary.
• Work with clients' property owners or contractors directly to arrange special payment options when necessary.
• Collaborate with internal and external stakeholders to reconcile payments and resolve any discrepancies in billing or payments.
• Communication with External Stakeholders:
• Serve as the primary point of contact for the property owners, insurance company, and mortgage company associated with each of our clients' jobs.
• Provide timely and accurate responses to inquiries related to billing and invoicing, addressing any billing or payment concerns promptly.
• Create a great experience for external stakeholders by maintaining high quality of engagement throughout the invoicing and payment process.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with internal teams, including account management, credit, and revenue cycle management, to ensure the seamless delivery of solutions and services to clients.
• Collaborate with the Revenue Cycle Manager to develop strategies to optimize the invoicing and payment process.

Requirements

Who you are:

• You have a minimum of 2 years of experience in billing, accounts receivable, or revenue cycle management. Prior exposure to the insurance and/or construction industry is preferred.
• You possess strong attention to detail and accuracy in data entry, financial record keeping, and task/project management.
• You have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients, on behalf of clients, and with internal stakeholders.
• You can add, subtract, multiply and divide in all units of measure using whole numbers, common fractions, and decimals.
• You are familiar with software and tools such as Hubspot, Google Suite, Zoom, and Slack.
• You have roofing, restoration, or construction industry experience (strongly preferred).
• You hold a Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Business Administration, Finance, or related field (preferred but not required).
