**Job** **Summary**: **Knowledge,** **Skills and Abilities**: Knowledge of HUD Manual 4381.5, Management Agents Handbook, Chapters 4 - 8 . Knowledge of basic social services and h ow to collaborate with other agencies to meet needs of residents . Ability to lead, motivate and mentor residents through spiritual enrichment. Ability to respond to and assist residents and guests in a courteous and p ro fessiona l manner. Ability to work with people and to provide assistance in a calm , courteous and professional manner.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS REQUIRED: Education and **Experience**: High school diploma or G.E.D. required, with a Bachelor's degree from an accredited co l lege or university in Social Services preferred , a nd t wo to three years of experience performing social services assistance for older adults, or any equivalent combination of training and experience which provides the required knowledge, skills , and abi l ities . **Physical** **Requirements**:

Ability to meet attendance requirements . Ability to read, write and communicate the English language effectively. Ability to perform routine mathematical computations. Ability to safely operate a Salvation Army vehicle. Ability and willingness to conduct all duties in accordance with the ministry of the organization and its Christian principles; conducts all communications and job duties with the highest level of professionalism. Duties are usually performed seated . Sitting may be relieved by brief or occasional periods of standing or walking. Limited amount of physical effort required associated with walking, standing , lifting and car r ying light objects (lessthan 25 lbs.). Work is usually performed in a normal office environment where there are little or no physical discomforts associated with changes in weather or discomforts associated with noise, dust, dirt, and the like , with the exception of dr i v in g conditions.
